- Safer - For your safety and peace of mind, the Duromatic pressure cookers have an integrated lid-locking system, so there's no chance the lid can be removed until the pressure is released. We've also integrated no fewer than five unique back-up safety systems into our pressure cookers in order to prevent excessive pressure build-up. It's easy to know what pressure level your Duromatic has reached, too, thanks to our spring-loaded valves--determine with a glance the exact pressure, and time your cooking accordingly.
- Healthier - Because very little water is needed, and because Kuhn Rikon's pressure cooker is a "closed system" with no oxygen exposure, fewer vitamins and minerals are lost to the cooking water or dissipated into the air, leaving more nutrients in the food.
