Don't know much about coffee. Bought this product for my wife who has been breaking the bank at Starbucks. She seems to like it thus far. Should be fine for our use.

Had a different brand before. This one is much more sturdy, easier to use & I love the fact that you can make a cup of espresso while the coffee pot is still brewing!

I enjoy the functionality of the machine. I can brew a pot of coffee and, at the same time, fix an espresso. The coffee has a good taste (I use regular Maxwell House or Folgers) and the espresso is excellent if you pack it yourself. The ESE pods are a little weak for espresso, but just fine for a cappuccino. I have only had my machine a month so I can't say if it will be reliable for years to come. Time will tell.
