I bought this to use for gatherings and in the last 3 weeks have had opportunities to use it 3 times. Once for coffee for a midwinter gathering, once for Christmas morning (which traditionally finds me making at least 4 pots of coffee before 10am) and once for making mocha latte for a Monty Python-athon hosted by my teenage daughter. The percolation makes for perfect coffee and the temperature control makes sure that it doesn't taste scorched. I'm looking forward to many years of use.
