This coffee maker stopped working about 3-4 months after getting it. One morning the timer was set, it started to make coffee then quit. It acted as if there was no power to the thing. We could never get it to work again. When we contacted DeLonghi we found out this dual maker was no longer being made and they did substitute 2 individual coffee makers that more or less had the same features as the dual. So far, so good, with the new coffee maker
Everything is great about this product except the coffee doesn't get hot enough to stay warm.
You have to drink it right away after brewing, if you wait more than 15 min. you'll have to microwave the coffee. Love having two pots, we use both every morning.
I like steaming hot coffee. The coffee is moderately hot and when I add creamer, it isn't hot at all.
A perfect gift for the two coffee famliy
Great product....coffee brews hot and stays hot...great taste....the design of the carafe makes it necessary to pour more slowly or it drips....otherwise great product
Good but cannot see water level in the resevior and coffee comes out of the pot very slow w/o taking the lid completely off. Great for us, I drink coffee my wife drinks tea.
It doesn't keep the coffee any hotter than other thermals I have tried. Don't like the coffee filter area.
With no pot heater the coffee is not real hot. The smaller amount the less heat. At the same time, with no heater the coffee will not taste bad after a few hours, just nuke it and it is ok.
The coffee does not stay HOT for 'hours' as written in the instruction manual. The actuall
pouring of the coffee is a lengthy procedure...from removing the carafe from the machine, gettting the lid turned to the
correct 'spot', to the slow stream of the coffee.
There is also a large, distasteful pooling of
'sludge' in the bottom of a cup and in the bottom of the carafe when using the wire filter.
I drink regular, my wife drinks decaf. We used to argue over who would get coffee first in the morning -- not any more. This coffee maker looks great on the kitchen counter and lets both of us have coffee at the same time. The only drawback, and it is a minor one, is that there is not a great way to measure the amount of water going into the machine (which makes it difficult to make 1/2 a pot). To fix this problem I use a measuring cup. Otherwise, I highly recommend this coffee maker.
GREAT GIFT FOR A COFFEE LOVING COUPLE WITH 'DUAL' REQUIREMENTS
works great, needs improvement on the pour spout very slow pouring. other than that excellent.
