    My children have asthma and I bought this air purifier for their bedroom. It definitely didn't help their asthma overnight, but with continued use it has made a difference. At the lowest setting, it is very quiet. We put it on the second setting at night because it makes a great white noise machine. It's not the most attractive purifier and it is very large, but I've seen worse. The filter lasts a long time. We've had our purifier for over 3 months and the filter change alert only has one bar out of five lit up. Overall, it was a good purchase.

    We run it on the lowest fan setting which is very quiet, but does not move a lot of air. The next speed up of the fan is loud. It would be nice if the product had a setting that was above the lowest setting, but not as much as current. The step up in speed should be lower.

    We truly think the product is a good one. We do wish it had an Auto sensor or longer set times so that we do not have to set it every 12 hours. Our son uses it in his room for Alergy relief and he is in there most of the time.

    Can't say enough about this air purifier. It truly has saved my life and has improved my health in the few short weeks that I've had it. I have a very old home (1929) with no air returns. The Alen 350 cleans that dusty air fast and completely (works best in a bedroom or other enclosed space). I don't have asthma but I live in a very polluted area and just having the purifier on overnight has improved my health. I'm more energetic, feel better in the morning, and don't have that heavy feeling anymore. I just can't recommend this purifier any more strongly.And though everyone has been saying that the Alen 350 is loud on higher speeds, and this is true, it does not take away from the excellence of this product in my opinion. It is no trouble to just keep it on a lower speed at night as this is perfectly sufficient to clean the air in a bedroom. [...]. Thanks Alen and thanks Chef's Corner!

    Son is alergic to "cats". We move the Alen from room to room as needed and let it run for several hours. It seems to really help my son with his allergies. He says there is a noticeable difference.
    High fan speed is pretty noisy - but don't need to run at that speed for long duration.
    Display lights have started to malfunction.
    Would recommend product - if my request for assistance with the "display" lights is answered.

    I'm a believer, now! My asthma has recently caused me to cough and wheeze quite a bit. The Alen A350 worked. The severity of my symptoms are all but gone. Thank Goodness. It's my first air purifier. I am very pleased with the product. The price of the air filters are the most competitive. I chose Alen because of the price of the air filters and lifetime warranty. I researched on the web for quite a long time. Thank You! In time, I'll know if it was the best choice. The handle, for mobility, is not placed in a balanced position - please improve it.

    We had a water leak that resulted in mold. We had to clear out two rooms and the offending bathroom, knock down walls, pull up carpet, throw out furniture, etc. We placed this air purifier in different areas for different days (usually a couple days in each room), and after about two and a half weeks of use, our home is smelling normal again. No more mildew, moldy smell. My asthmatic son has stopped coughing, and we all feel a lot better. This was not an inexpensive air purifier, but I would highly recommend this product to anyone with allergies or any kind of mold spore problem. We are VERY pleased with this purchase. Not only that, there is a lifetime warranty on this product so I feel secure in knowing that if something goes wrong with it, that we will be protected from spending more $$ to purchase new equipment. To qualify for the warranty, you have to sign up for the automatic filter replacement program, it's about [$] every 6 months for a new filter. NO PROBLEM. This machine WORKS.
