It's my first juicer, so I don't know if there's anything better out there, but I'm pretty happy with it. I really didn’t know what to buy, and I ended up buying this one because it’s a Compaq, because it’s not made of white plastic that gets stained and because it looks good. I spent a little more than what I had planned but it turned out to be a pretty good choice… The engine sounds very powerful to me, it’s easy to clean, it makes a lot of juice and the remaining pulp it's quite dry. Now I can just drink many vegetables (so rich in vitamins and minerals) that I wouldn’t even know how to cook! Either this or another one just buy it!
It’ll make your life juicier :-)

I wanted a starter juicer with good horsepower that was relatively quiet and small. It makes quick work of carrots, beets, leafy greens, celery, ginger root and anything else I've thrown in. I haven't tried citrus, but it isn't recommended anyway. Kind of a pain to clean, but I don't have anything to compare it to--maybe they all are. I'm happy with it.

I was a bit leery when I purchase this product because of some negative reviews, complaints about noise, mess, and leaking. I love this juicer, it is my first. I've used it at least twice daily since I bought it, sometimes three times daily. All I can say is, "read the directions". It takes about 5 minutes and will cut short mistakes. Many of the complaints I saw were a result of not reading the directions, and not taking the time to figure things out...buying 1 or 2 juicing books is a worthwhile investment: people have been doing this for years, no need to re-invent the wheel! It will save you time and money wasted on juicing 'mistakes' that you don't have to make. One complaint said that the product was advertised as being able to handle pineapple cores...so the person put in the pinapple RIND, (which is differnt from the core!) and complained that it didn't meet the advertised standards. Light fruits like berries will fly around, so stop the machine, put them in with a larger veg./fruit on top, and then start it up. I find clean up to take 5 minutes or less. Simple enough to use several times a day.

Great machine for the money. Kind of loud...sounds a little like a small jet engine. But, makes lots of juice and is very fast. Make sure to put the pitcher under the spout very snug or it will leak a bit. I also bought one for my daughter who's a chef and she loves it.

I'm having so much fun experimenting with different vegetable combinations. Now looking for a good composter so the pulp doesn't go to waste. Also told pulp can be added to muffins for additional fiber. Unlike earlier juicers, this one's plastic parts don't stain and the little cleaner brush cleans the strainer screen easily and completely.
Fast delivery, unit well-packed and in perfect shape. Super-easy to rinse parts, assemble and juice, juice, juice!

First of all the instructions read to turn it on prior to adding items.... WRONG... then all the juice flies all over the room. Terrible performance.... all the fruit/vegetable contents end up in the conatiner and not in the dispenser.

The motor is powerful and not terribly noisy. Other reviews mentioned leaking which I didn't find to be true. The feeder tube is very large and it works quickly, producing a lot of juice. There is quite a bit of pulp remaining that seems to be a waste of fiber. The machine is also a bit larger than I expected so harder to store. Overall we are very happy with the juicer. I don't think we would have the same results with any other model or brand.

I use this juicer for fruits only. Its increadible the quantity of juice it makes. The pulp is left just a little yet. It's relatively quiet and very easy to clean (simply use the dishwasher). The scrub/spatula included is just the right tool to remove the pulp from the container.
The ads for this juicer indicates that one can even put pineapple with the rind, suggesting that one could just run the juicer without peeling the fruits. However, that is not the case. Oranges, for example, needed to be peeled before otherwise the juice will be bitter (just like if you eat an orange peel). That adds on the preparation work.

I use it for juice. I have never owned a juicer before this one but am impressed none the less. Easy to clean and maintain. A little messy at first but not after you get your system down. Instructions recommend you only put pieces on the upper rack of dishwasher so sometimes you need to adjust for that or use upper rack only setting and wash by itself.

The Breville/Juice Fountain Compact - BRVBJE200XL has a great look. Unfortunately, looks don't help the performance. The first batch of product you put down the chute is fine, but when you open the chute to put the next batch, the spinning action throws juice up thru the chute and EVERYWHERE. Turning the juicer on and off for every batch is a pain. There are many other brands that do a good job without bathing you in juice to do it.

I used this juicer for a 7 day juice fast, juicing things like apples, oranges, carrots, celery, beets, radishes, herbs, watermelon, pineapple, tomatoes, and lettuce. This juicer did a fantastic job with everything. It juices fast, and the leftover pulp is quite dry. Clean-up was very easy in the sink. I also washed the parts in the top of the dishwasher now and then. The included brush did a great job on the mesh screen. I think this juicer is an excellent buy!

Bought cheaper models that were just messy and disappointing. I'm glad the last one finally died so we could step up to this one. Much more heavy duty serice. It's faster, no mess, easier to clean and assemble.

Yes, it makes juice but it's really loud especially when the motor is slowing down.
Juice and pulp bits leak into the joint between the bonded dark colored lower part and clear plastic upper portion where the spout is and stays there forming a thin ring of unreachable gunk embedded inside the clear plastic. there is no way I can reach to clean it out. The only thing I can do is microwave it for 3 minutes until the trapped liquid boils over and the pulp bits turn black. Then I know it's safe to use.
Thin slabs of unjuiced veggies end up with the pulp because of the clearance between the blades and the top. Once a veggie falls sideways and reaches about 1/8th of an inch thick it is thrown to the pulp container unjuiced.
After one juicing, I re-juiced the pulp and got about 10% more juice out of it.
This is my first juicer so I really don't know if this is normal. I know next time I'll spend a little more money and buy something better and quieter then this model.

I learned the first time I used this product, that you should put all your berries in at the same time. The machine has a tendency to spit back at you through the tube. The juice it produced was wonderful. I did several different kinds of berries, apples slices and some lime. It was very tasty. You could dribble on top of ice cream as a topping. I would definitely tell everyone to buy this product. The price is GREAT!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this compact juicer and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a compact model. Doesn't take up a lot of space and works well without any waste or residue. Because it's compact, it must be emptied frequently but it's easily to use, clean and works great.

I have experienced minor leakage which I believe has more to do with the fruits/veges combinations I am using and my technique (I'm still learning!); sometimes there is no leakage at all. The motor housing is sealed and a quick wipe with a cloth is all that is needed to clean leakage. I think, for the money, this is an excellent juicer.

I am using the Juice Fountain Compact for making vegetable juices as well as fruit combinations. Wow - it really produces a lot of juice and leaves remarkably dry pulp! I have already recommended this product to friends.

As I get older, I'm getting better. Drinking fresh juice without preservatives and chemicals have made a significant improvement in my appearance.
This juicer is such a great bargain for the price. Best of all, it is dishwasher safe and has few parts to clean. Additionally, it is not overly large and will fit under the counter nicely. It occasionally leaks but I believe it is due to an abundance of juice being produced from certain fruits/veg...it doesn't leak all the time. No concern for leaking into motor or causing any problems, only a little extra clean-up. Great buy!

The product is very easy to ensemble and easy to clean. I like the stiff brush very much. It removes all the pulp from the strainer. I particularly like the size. Not big and bulky. I have used it only one time to try it out and I like it very much

I love everything about the juicer except 2 things: having to peel citrus fruits and some juice leaks out and I am concerned it can get inside parts that should not be wet. Other than that, it's great; fast, lots of juice, easy clean up and mostly quiet.

We need to have the Plastic juicer cover - replaced. When the locking arm went over the groves, 1 side broke off (groove).

Very powerful! I have already recommended this to friends and family. It has a great stiff cleaning brush and I love the fact that I can drop a whole apple in the feeder without cutting it up. It spits out the seeds too. My 8 year old loves to juice too.
It's a bit too big to store on my counter top since I have a small kitchen with little counter space. Good product! Thanks.

Makes good juice if you go slowly. If you press hard on the thing being juiced it produces only a little juice and large chunks will go through unjuiced.

This juicer is everything I wanted. Every part that can be removed goes right in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Also there are not a million parts...it comes with a nice brush to remove the pulp easily.
It seems very well made and so simple. No messy work. Just drop in fruit and drink up!!
I have already been recomending this juicer to everyone I know.
